Onam celebration
Onam is a festival of joy celebrated by the people of Kerala. It is the official and traditional festival of the state and encompasses a wide range of cultural events. To promote cultural integrity among the students of our college, we celebrated Onam on September 13, 2024. The event was presided over by our correspondent, Rev. Fr. Michael Alocious, and the principal of the college, Dr. Justin Antony.
The festival featured various cultural performances organized by the first-year students. All students actively participated in events such as dance, group singing, skits, and compiring. Following the cultural performances, a series of traditional Onam-related games were conducted, bringing excitement and enjoyment to the audience.
In addition to the Onam celebrations, we also observed Teacher’s Day to honor our teachers. The significance of teachers was highlighted by the student representatives, and gifts were presented to all teachers as a token of appreciation. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
A special Onam Sadhya was arranged for both the staff and students, making the celebration even more memorable
